Description:We will be having our annual Kids Fishing Derby held at Teneroc Fish Management area in Lakeland, FL on Derby Lake. The derby starts at 8:30am and goes till 11:30am. We will have an awards ceremony following the derby in the picnic area. Each kid will need to provide their own fishing pole. We will have bait and tackle, snacks and drinks as well. There will be a prize for longest fish, smallest fish, heaviest fish, and most fish caught. If parents are fishing they will need a fishing license, which must be obtained before arrival to check in. Kids will not need a fishing license. The cost to get in per adult is $3 which will be paid to the management area at the check in station located at the entrance to Derby Lake. This must be paid to be at the derby. We are looking forward to a great and fun filled day of fishing and fellowship
