The academy at People's Church

Thank you for your interest in The Academy at People's Church.  APC admits children of any race, color, religion, or nationality. The Academy is licensed by the Florida League of Christian Schools (FLOCs).


The Academy at People's Church offers the following and more:

  • Loving, qualified teachers who have been properly screened and are certified in CPR & First Aid.
  • Bright & inviting classrooms which are monitored and recorded on video.
  • Bible based curricula that enhance: learning of letters, colors, shapes, literacy, music, and movement.
  • opportunities for each student to develop social, cognitive, and emotional skills throughout the day
  • Excellent communication throughout the day with parents, via the mobile application "Brightwheel".

Deciding where to entrust your child's care and education is a very important decision.  If you would like to begin the enrollment process for People's Academy, please fill out a waiting list application which can be found HERE. Our Academy Director Jennifer Spivey will receive it and will respond to you within 3 business days to set up a tour and let you know about availability.  Looking forward to meeting you.

Jennifer has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Education

from the University of North Georgia.  She has been a certified teacher in Georgia and in Florida,

she has a lifetime Birth-Five Staff Credential, and a Directors Credential with VPK Certification.  

Jennifer has over 25 years experience in early childhood and elementary education.

Mandy has been with us at the Academy at Peoples Church for over 15 years!  

She is highly qualified and holds several credentials, including

but not limited to her Director Credential with VPK certification

and Birth-Five Staff Credential. Mandy's expertise in Early Childhood Education

as well as her tremendous organizational and leadership skills are invaluable to us at APC.

  • TUITION INFORMATION

    Once you fill out the WAITING LIST APPLICATION, our Academy Administrator will contact you to schedule a tour and speak with you about availability.  At that time, if we have a spot for your child, we will send you and application and enrollment package.  In the meantime, here's a little information that may help you make a determination about moving forward with the Academy at People's Church:


    Application Fee: $75 annually (per family, not per child)

    Materials Fee: $100 annually (only for 2s, 3s, 4s)


    The infant room is open 7:00am-5:15pm.  For 1 year olds to 4 years old/non-VPK, we are open 7:00am-6:00pm. For VPK, we are open 8:00am-5:00pm.


    Tuition Schedule for August 2022-2023:


    FULL TIME

    Infants: $200/week.

    1 Year Olds: $190/week

    2 Year Olds: $180/week.

    3 Year Olds: $170/week.

    4 Year Olds (non-VPK): $160/week.

    VPK Wrap Care with Voucher: $110/week


    Part-time enrollees will be considered on a case-by-case basis.  We do not offer drop-in care.
