EVERY MONDAY night at 7:00, Our weekly Celebrate Recovery service is a ministry for people of all ages and from all walks of life. Our service offers worship and biblical-based teaching relevant to your circumstances. It is a safe place to overcome your hurts, habits, and hang-ups and find freedom in Jesus Christ. It is our goal to allow you to share your burdens without interruption or advice, and allow healing to begin. What is discussed here stays here. A person can use God’s Word to overcome life’s hindering issues.

We have a place for wounded people. Jesus knows every wound, and He’s not going to waste our pain. Recovery takes time. It reaches and transforms the very roots of our being. When our recovery is centered on the Lord, His transforming power can turn our pain into gladness!

What is celebrate recovery?

Celebrate Recovery is a biblical and balanced program that helps us overcome our hurts, hang-ups, and habits.  It is based on the actual words of Jesus rather than psychological theory.  25 years ago, the original Celebrate Recovery ministry launched with 43 people in attendance.  CR was designed as a program to help those struggling with hurts, habits and hang-ups by showing them the loving power of Jesus Christ through a recovery process. Celebrate Recovery is now in over 29,000 churches nationwide! Eighty-five percent of the people who go through the program stay with the church and nearly half serve as church volunteers.

Celebrate Recovery incorporates fellowship, worship, sharing, accountability and step-study groups to help you allow yourself to be healed by God's transforming power.  Life can be hard, but you are not alone!

CR at Calvary meets every Monday:

Fellowship and light snacks 6:30-7:00

Large Group from 7:00-8:00

Open Share Groups from 8:00-9:00

Connections Cafe 9:00-9:30

Rosa (a former chef!) loves to cook and has a true gift for hospitality.  These two, along with their terrific team, will make you feel welcome as soon as you walk in the door! You can connect with Carl and Rosa on Monday nights and via email at or by phone at 843-997-2897. You may also call the church office at 863-294-5710.

  • open share small groups

REAL RECOVERY begins in a small group! If you have a hurt, habit or hang-up (isn't that all of us?) then an Open Share Small Group is for YOU!

Following the large group meeting, we break into gender-specific, mixed-issue open share small groups. During open share, we'll discuss teaching from large group or real-life issues we are facing individually.  Following the CR small group guidelines, this is a judgement-free and safe atmosphere where you can feel accepted to come as you are.

For more information on open share small groups, please contact Carl and Rosa at or by phone at 843-997-2897. You may also call the church office at 863-294-5710.

  • Celebration place: ages 5-13

Celebration Place is the uplifting, hope-filled, children's companion to Celebrate Recovery. This means that while adults explore topics that bring healing and wholeness, their kids are discovering the same truths in age-appropriate ways! Here, children will receive lessons that give them: truths that help them avoid cycles of hurts, hang-ups, and habits; ways to draw close to Jesus during challenging times; language and experiences to understand; and friendships with other children whose parents are taking steps to resolving their pain and moving forward in life.
